Blicthan® wheel

Blicthan® (95±2 Shore A)

Blicthan® (95±2 Shore A)

Blicthan®: High-purity refined polyurethane with very high abrasion resistance. Stable, consistent properties from batch to batch; long service life under heavy load at low speed, suited to dusty or abrasive duty.

Typical Operating Conditions

  • Typical equipment: screening machine drive wheels, idler rollers and support rollers, bulk handling, heavy machinery.
  • Load and speed: very high loads at low speed (≤16 km/h); continuous heavy-duty running.
  • Environment: abrasive, dusty or gritty conditions; where wheel replacement is costly.

Note: typical values measured on laboratory test specimens, for material selection only; whole-wheel performance depends on wheel diameter, tread thickness and operating conditions.

Blicthan polyurethane wheels target the upper end of the load range, including press-on tyres and large drive wheels. The thick tread spreads contact pressure and limits flat spots on parked equipment. Tell us the static load, speed and floor type before choosing the centre material.
